20 Teves: Spiritual Maturity
SPIRITUAL MATURITY
[In the time of Moshiach,] on the same day that a seed is planted, it will sprout and bear fruit.
(Toras Kohanim, Vayikra, 26:4)
Trees are destined to yield fruits every day. (Shabbos 30b)
One of the remarkable features of the Messianic era is that trees will sprout, grow, and bear fruit immediately upon planting. Currently, it takes time because of the disconnect between the spiritual source and the physical world. Moshiach will reveal the essence that unites the spiritual and physical. Once everything is unified, there will be no delay or resistance between the potential and the actual.
The more that Torah and mitzvos permeate our being, the more our actions will reveal the essence in the world around us.
