22 Tishrei: All Aboard

R. Chiya bar Ashi said in the name of Rav: The disciples of the wise have no rest, neither in this world nor in the World to Come [because of their constant spiritual striving], as it says, “They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears before G-d in Zion.” (Talmud, Berachos 64a)
Even after Moshiach comes, returns us to our land, and rebuilds the Temple, our work will not be complete. Each of us will study the Torah, particularly its inner dimensions, which will be taught by Moshiach.
Nevertheless, there is no reason to wait for Moshiach to come and teach us.
Rather, we can enjoy a “taste” of the Time to Come by learning the Torah’s inner dimensions to the best of our ability. This will accomplish two things. It will elevate us, thereby preparing us for Moshiach. At the same time, our efforts will hasten Moshiach’s coming. So what are we waiting for?
