A CHILD’S TRICK
When a certain tzadik was a young child, he wanted an apple, but his father would not give it to him. Being a sharp lad, he made the blessing on the fruit, and his father was forced to give him the apple [so that the boy’s blessing would not have been said in vain].
Similarly, when we rejoice in the Redemption out of complete trust that G-d will bring Moshiach very soon, we “force” G-d to hasten the Redemption and give Moshiach to his children.
